At the age of 17 Andrew Strong was catapulted to worldwide fame in Alan Parker's highly successful film "The Commitments". Andrew played the lead role of Deco Cuff, and caused a sensation by doing his own vocals in the film and on the soundtrack. The soundtrack album was a huge success, selling over 15 million copies worldwide, setting a new standard for blockbuster film soundtracks. During this period Andrew received commercial endorsements and made numerous special appearances, increasing his exposure on television around the world.
Since "The Commitments" he has recorded 4 more platinum-selling albums. A seasoned live performer, he has toured Europe with some of music's biggest superstars, such as The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Prince, and Lenny Kravitz.
Until now, Andrew has never done a full-fledged tour of the United States. His legions of fans await his arrival on US soil to experience his riveting r&b and sweet soul music.

CUBENSIS brings the Grateful Dead concert experience back to life! Drawing from all eras of the Dead, the band performs a three-hour set of Grateful Dead and JGB classics that retains all the spontaneous exploratory jamming for which the bands were renown. However, the music produced is uniquely Cubensis, as the band extracts the most out of every song using inspiration and their well-honed improvisational skills.
Cubensis has been pleased to find their most enthusiastic supporters are those who never got a chance to see the Grateful Dead in person, and wonder what they missed. Seasoned “Deadheads” come out to relive the great shows gone by, and as a result, the band is in great demand.
Cubensis was given specific permission by Jerry Garcia to perform the Dead's music. Garcia's only request was, "Do a good job of it."
